Go to view:
Check show hidden files & folders:
Uncheck hide protected operating system files:
Uncheck hide extension for know files types:
Click apply:
Click apply to all folders:
Say yes:
In windows explorer set your computer to view all files as follows:
Open windows explorer by right clicking on "My Computer", then left click on explore, or go to run, and type explorer, then hit ok.
Go to tools / folder options as shown below:
Go to view:
Check show hidden files & folders:
Uncheck hide protected operating system files:
Uncheck hide extension for know files types:
Click apply:
Click apply to all folders:
Say yes:
Your computer is now set to view all files.
